When you fill out the contact form on my website, one of the most important questions on there is, “What are some things  you and your family or partner love to do?” This really helps me to make your session specific to you, through choice of location to what prompts to use when posing you.

When Marisa reached out she told me all about her family’s love of the outdoors, flowers,  farmers markets and being around water. As soon as this inquiry came in, I had the perfect spot in mind for their session. If you have ever been to Lancaster County Park, you know that it’s huge and has so much to offer. We started our session out in one of the wildflower fields that pops up each summer and then we jumped in our cars and drove to another part of the park that has easy access to the river.

This family also shared with me their love of candid photos vs posed photos. So I really let them be themselves and explore the location. I gave a few prompts to help give them some variety in their photos but mostly just let them have fun together and documented the experience.
